Concept
LabKit provides a fully serviced science laboratory – worktables, services and storage – very quickly to meet all specified needs. No parts are fixed to the building structure and no excavations are required for drains. No expensive site preparation or critical co-ordination of different building trades is necessary. Gases, water, electricity and drainage are required at only one point in the room. When needed elsewhere the complete system can be moved quickly and set up again at minimal cost.
LabKit consists of a series of up to eight workstations linked together by high level service trunks to a control unit. Components of the system incorporate the following features:

Each workstation provides all laboratory services to the workplaces, including water, drainage, vacuum, natural gas and power. Compressed air and other gases may also be specified.

The control unit incorporates isolation controls for all services and is the only component which is connected directly to the mains services. It contains pumps and tanks for drainage which is raised by vacuum from the workstations to the control unit via the service trunks.
Practical tables with heavy duty frames and worktops in high pressure laminate are available in a wide range of colours.
