Serviced Pedestal System
A combination of fixed serviced pedestals and loose tables provides the most flexible laboratory layout. Tables can be quickly arranged into forward facing rows for teaching, or grouped around the pedestal for practical work.
Most serviced pedestals are 600 x 600 or 1200 x 600 in size. They are normally fitted with power (and data) and gas outlets. Designs with and without sinks are available.

Standard heights are: 850mm or 900mm (pedestals without sinks) and 1000mm or 1050mm (pedestals with sinks). On the sink design the worktop is positioned 150mm higher than the surrounding tables. Electrical outlets are mounted on the pedestal side and protected from water splashes by a 50mm worktop overhang. A machined protection strip is fitted where tables meet pedestal sides.
Construction
Exterior carcass panels manufactured from 18mm thick melamine faced MDF board.
All edges lipped with 3mm PVC edge-band
Plinth manufactured from epoxy coated 2mm plate steel for secure floor fixing.
Choice of worktops to suit client's requirements.
270 degree adjustable hinges.
One piece aluminium handle epoxy powder coated to a colour of your choice.
Tables
Manufactured from epoxy coated steel frames with worktops to match the pedestals. Tables are 1200 x 600mm and are available in 850 and 900mm heights.
