Power and Data Outlets

Electrical outlets and data points may be included in a dado rail or positioned on the worktop in a pedestal box.

On perimeter benches a wall mounted dado trunk is often the most cost effective solution. Worktop mounted pedestal boxes may also be used for example where the bench runs in front of a window and there is insufficient room for wall mounted trunking.

For peninsular and island benches outlets are usually positioned on the worktop in a pedestal box. However they may also be positioned verticalically on the front rail of the cupboards.

A range of epoxy coating colours is available for the metal pedestal boxes. They are often coloured to match the cupboard door handles. Pedestal boxes may house a single socket on one side, single sockets on both sides, double socket on one side, or double sockets on both sides.

We also offer the option of a vertical powerdock that can be retracted into the worktop when not is use. When in the retracted position the powerdock has a water/dust protection rating of IP54.
