APMG offers a complete service for the design, manufacture and installation of fume scrubbers to handle corrosive fumes, moist gases and dust laden air flows.
Impingement plate scrubbers
Proven principle in which the gas is passed vertically through fine perforations in a plate and is impinged on targets and contacted with water or other liquid flowing horizontally across the plate. This type of fume scrubber is recommended where there is dust within the stream.
Packed bed scrubbers
The gas flow rises, counter current to the flow of the scrubbing liquor, through a packed tower where neutralisation or removal of the contaminates takes place. Horizontal packed bed scrubbers may be used when multiple stage scrubbing is required or when headroom is limited.
Venturi scrubbers
Comprising an external Venturi section through which the contaminated air stream is accelerated and mixed with the scrubbing liquor and a separator where removal of the agglomerated particles takes place.

APMG has the ability to produce scrubbers and ductwork systems of capacity up to 45 m3/s. It is our policy to manufacture all plant within our own factory, thus maintaining the high standards of quality for which the company is well known. We also manufacture plastic parts for other leading fume scrubber suppliers.
Our experienced team of site installation engineers have been trained to install and commission plant quickly and efficiently both in Britain and abroad.
